White Oak Barrels
Description
The Atlantic cedar mulch and natural colored chips are made of virgin cedar.
Being inexpensive, they are ideal choices to cover large areas. Among their properties, note that cedar bark decomposes very slowly and they repel insects. Roses, among other shrubs, love cedar mulch. Mulches are superior natural insulators. They keep the soil cool during the warm months and protects against extreme temperature fluctuations thus avoiding repeated cycles of freezing and thawing in spring and fall. Moreover, they retain soil moisture and minimize evaporation and reduce the impact of rain thus protecting the soil against compaction. It gives a uniform and natural look to a planting bed.
Available in bags of 2 cubic foot and 3 cu.ft. as well as compressed bales of 2.5 and 5 vg. cu. (mulch only) and in bulk.
Cedar mulch
Mainly produced from the bark of the tree, it can be used as such or as a background layer for our colored cedar mulch.Ideal for large surfaces. It is inexpensive and decomposes very slowly.

Red cedar mulch
Natural cedar with a touch of color, harmless for the environment as well as childrens and pets. It will add contrast and brightness to your landscape.

Cedar chips
Unlike mulch, cedar chips are mainly produced from crushed cedar wood.
They are ideal for the recovery trail, arrangements of flowers and plants, bedding for large animals, etc.

Using the same manufacturing process as cedar chips, they will add a special and colored finished touch to trails and gardens.

Description
Besides the cedar mulch, Atlantic offers an extensive selection of quality mulch. Just as the cedar mulch, they retain soil moisture and reduce the impact of rain.
Atlantic also offer pine chips instead of cedar. Available in two sizes, they are the product of shredding thick and coarse bark from southern pines. They are naturally coated with a "waxy" kind of substance which makes them more resistant to decay. From a sober brown, they decomposes down more slowly than the mulch.
Pine mulch
Pine mulch is ideal for plants thirsty of acid , whether annual or perennial. Given its more rapid decomposition in the fall, it can be mixed with the soil to condition it for next spring.

Hemlock mulch
Our hemlock mulch decomposes slowly. It is distinguished by its reddish color which will add a natural contrast and exceptional style to your landscape.

Forest mulch

Pine bark nuggets
With pieces of bark size ranging from 5 to 12 centimeters in length, pine bark nuggets are the most durable of our coatings. They will give a rustic touch to your planting bed.
Also available, Mini Pine Bark Nuggets. Smaller, these nuggets provide a more leveled coatings in the narrow spaces.
